If you are asking yourself the following questions:
- Are my loved ones safe at home?
- Are their bills being paid on time?
- Are my parents health concerns taking me away from my family?
- Are my loved ones able to manage their own affairs?
- Who will care for my disabled Adult/Child?
Senior Guidance is the answer.
A Geriatric Care Manager is a health and human services professional such as gerontologist, nurse, social worker or psychologist with a specialized focus on issues related to aging and elder care. Geriatric Care Managers work privately with older adults and their families to create a plan of care that meets the needs of the older adult. They will meet with you to help you understand your loved ones’ needs and to learn what resources and options are available to meet those needs.
A Legal Guardian is a person who has the legal authority (and the corresponding duty) to care for the personal and property interests of another person, called a Ward. Usually, a person has the status of guardian because the ward is incapable of caring for his or her own interests due to incapacity, or disability. A guardian is a fiduciary and is held to a very high standard of care in exercising his/her powers.
